FeedBurner is Google's property

Incase you don't know what FeedBurner is?

FeedBurner is a Chicago-based company that provides media distribution and audience engagement services for blogs and RSS feeds. Its Web-based tools, including an extensive feed and blog advertising network, help publishers promote, deliver, and monetize their content on the Web and make feed-based content more accessible and manageable for its end users.

According to the site, the terms of the acquisition are confidential, and the deal is officially closed. But according to TechCrunch aquisition price: $100 million.

Well since feedburner is now totally under google's control, it will integrate feedburner with Google's tools and technology.

What does this mean for FeedBurner's partners, advertisers, and users?

Incase you haven't notice the "site visitors" option seems to have disappeared somewhere, so now you cannot check the source of my site visitors coming.

There might be lot of other changes in FeedBurner and there are also chance that google may add more strict policies to feedburner in the name of privacy.

Also feed-based ads is purely based on (cost per thousand) CPM basis, chance might be it will change into(cost per click) CPC basis like google adsense ads.
